Our founder's story
AWACON Group was founded by Richard Awabdeh, a qualified Civil Engineer with extensive experience delivering major infrastructure, development and construction projects across Victoria.
Throughout his career, Richard has worked across both client-side and contractor-side organisations, successfully managing complex project packages involving procurement, contract administration, project controls, stakeholder engagement and construction delivery.
His experience spans major infrastructure, utility and urban development projects, working alongside government authorities, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Drawing on this experience, Richard established AWACON Group to provide practical project management, project controls and construction advisory services to clients across infrastructure, development and residential construction sectors.
Today, Richard remains actively involved in every engagement, providing strategic advice, project leadership and delivery support to help clients navigate project challenges, manage risk and achieve successful outcomes with confidence.
